Any suggestions on either Grand Floridian Cafe or Kona Cafe for adult only Breakfast?

You can't go wrong with either, but I would go with Kona for more unique breakfast options.

We love the Kona Cafe macademia nut butter for adding to our breakfast pancakes and DH loves the Tonga Toast they serve here as well.

We prefer the Grand Floridian Cafe slightly, but both are good. Kona is our second favorite breakfast. We can split a Big Kahuna platter and a press pot of Kona coffee. At the GFC we split an order of the Maple Vanilla French Toast and get an extra side of eggs. The GFC is a more upscale adult setting, Kona is a slightly more relaxed setting (not that the GFC is stuffy or anything, just talking decor here).

My recommendation would be to do both. :)

You can see our full reviews with photos of both on either of the dining reports linked in my signature.

GFC is so quiet and relaxing, excellent food and you can request the back circle of the dining room and watch the monorail go by.

Kona is awesome food but a total madhouse, noise level is insane because of Ohana and people walking in/out to the monorail

1) Absolutely.
2) One of the few quite dining areas at WDW.
. . . very few kids, and those are usually somewhat quiet
. . . more adults that know how to act at better eateries

like both, slight edge to Kona (love the macadamia/pineapple pancakes with the Big Kahuna, and the Kona pressed pot coffee is outstanding.) When we ate breakfast at Kona, it was actually very, very quiet. Don't know where the madhouse of 'Ohana was those days, but not anywhere within hearing of Kona. One of those times was during September free dining, too. But it was fairly early (like 7:30) so maybe 'Ohana waiting crowds pick up for later breakfast times.

Now dinner at Kona...that's noisy and the entire atrium/lobby up there is non-stop hubbub.

We were there during Spring Break this year and had the exact opposite experience. Granted we did 7:30am ADRs :lmao:

Such a tough choice! You really can't go wrong with either one...just really depends on what kind of food you're more in the mood for. Macadamia nut pancakes at Kona and Lobster Eggs Benedict at GF Cafe are two of my very favorite breakfasts anywhere :)
