Adult Nightlife?

Well on Disney property the two main venues for adult entertainment are the Boardwalk and Pleasure Island.

Boardwalk has top 40 and popular music with a DJ and is free. Boardwalk also has the dualing piano bar (entry fee) which is hilarious fun mixed in with everyone in the audience singing along to songs that everyone knows the words to.

Pleasure Island at Downtown Disney costs $21.95 and consists of 5 dance clubs, 2 comedy clubs plus an Irish pub. (The latter is free to all.) For one admission you can club hop with each venue featuring it's own music style from oldies to rock & roll to hip hop to techno. All clubs are 21+ so no teens.

The Dueling Piano bar at Boardwalk, Jellyroles I believe its called, you have to pay to get into that place? Any idea what that cost??? Is it worth it.. On our first night, i was planning on taking the DW there and getting a little, um, tanked, yeah.... and that piano bar sounded fun as hell

Unless something has changed that is not true. Most places in PI you can get into if you are 18.

Changed January 1. Now everywhere except Adventurers Club and Comedy Warehouse are 21+.

Jelly Rolls is also 21+. I believe the cover is now $10. It is fun, generally a bit older crowd than PI. Be warned, it's one of the few places on property smoking is allowed, that's a huge turn-off to many.

This is a "must do" for me every trip and I always have a blast - whether by myself or with friends. It's open from 7p-2a, with entertainment starting at 8p. Last call is 1:30a. I'm not a smoker, but most nights the smoke hasn't been too bad in there.

I find it's the best spent $10 for a night of great entertainment! Once you go, you'll be hooked!!

Awesome to hear this... It sounded like a blast, as I am not into the club/dance scene, this just seemed like a blast!

Yes its called Jellyroll. I have been there and it is a lot of fun. I was hoping to try somelace else with a similar aged crowd and style, not nessicarly piano bar though.

The crowd at the Adventurers Club often skews a bit older than the rest of PI, if comedic theater is more your thing.

Off-property, Bahama Breeze often has live music on the patio. Similar crowd to JRs. The Blue Martini, in the Mall at Millenia, also tends to attract a more mature crowd.

I agree with everything you said. The first time I went to Jellyrolls was during a family trip w/ my sister's family. They all went to bed fairly early, but I wanted something to do. My brother-in-law suggested I go check out Jellyrolls and I had such a good time that I went back every other nite of our trip. It's a fun crowd, the staff if very friendly, and the piano players are great. I didn't feel out of place by myself and eventhough smoking is allowed, I didn't find it to be a problem ( and I generally can't stand smoke in bars). It is definitely worth the price of admission. You may want to get there fairly early though because it tends to fill up later on. If there are conventions happening at the Swan/Dolphin, those folks tend to head over when their evening dinner is over and it can get wall-to-wall. Overall a great value for the money. Have fun. House of Blues in DTD usually ahs a guitar player, somethime a duet outside on the patio--no cover charge and some of them are remarkably good. Great place for people watching, and the drinks are a little less $4 than the PI clubs.
