Hey guys - just curious if a party of 4 adults would really enjoy Ohana for dinner. I have an ADR and was all set to go, but I'm having second thoughts over other restaurants. Also, I can't get the time I want (been checking for a month!).

So, how is Ohana for adults?

(Our other ADRs are Boma, CP, Liberty Tree, The Wave, Le Cellier, and Coral Reef)

We went September 2009 at about 830PM, the "entertainment" was going strong.

We both loved the food - think Pei Wei...It is a LOUD place though, I did not see any quiet corners! I imagine it would be fine for loud, young adults, but not four seniors.

It's nice to walk around the grounds afterwards, love those tikis.

I agree with the PP. If you don't mind loudness, I think you'll like it. You don't need kids to enjoy it.

Now, I didn't find O'Hana to be loud at all...(maybe because I'm the mom of three young kids who are loud, so to me it wasn't?) Anyway, I think you will enjoy 'Ohana, however, if you are looking for a more "adult" atmosphere, I think there are other choices that may be better.

Hope you enjoy whatever you decide!

I've actually only ever been to 'Ohana with adults--anywhere from just one other person to a group of five, and it's always everyone's favorite out of the whole trip.

I LOVE they Poly..ever since I was a child so I think thats one of the reasons I have to eat there.. Ive tried Kona wasnt impressed, love Capt Cooks for breakfast and lunch..We have been to Ohana atleast 5 times and 4 out of 5 times it was outstanding! That one time the meats were a bit dry from being over cooked but I just take it as an of night..WHile its loud, its so much fun, listneing to the ukeleilee (no idea how to spell that) singer, and the ambiance is just lovely! We always eat near WIshes time and go down to the beach half way thru..The shops are lovely too

If you're good with the noisy games for children, then you'll be fine. You might try asking to be seated away from the main area so you don't get hit with a hula hoop or have a kid trying to retrieve a coconut from under your table (unless that's fine with your party). If you are looking for a quieter, more "adult" atmosphere, that ain't it. (They do stop the children's games at 9:30 pm)

when we were there we were in the front part of the resturant and the games seemed to be in the side back part so our area didn't seem that bad for noise, no more then any other DW resturant.
It was also all the adults favourite meal too

I agree with everyone too. It IS loud, but the food has been GREAT for us both times we've dined there. The menu really seems more adult-oriented IMHO.
Yummy food and lots of fun!! :thumbsup2

We went, just 2 adults last year, loved it, going back this year! :thumbsup2

I love Ohana, it's my favorite DW place to eat. I found it more for adults than kids because of the type of food served. Also I have never found it too noisy in there.

It's more fun and less loud after a couple of adult beverages. I recommend the Lapu Lapu or the Pina Colava!;) DH and I love the food and atmosphere at 'Ohana...I don't know if you can really call us "adults," but put it this way, we don't get carded anymore, and we are often spotted with our 2 teen-aged "children." :)

We went last year and plan to go back again this year. We were a group of 6 adults and one child. Everyone loved the food and it was one of the favorite meals of the trip.

We have an ADR for 3 adults for Ohana after a day at Hollywood Studios. We're opting to eat at Ohana with a view of Wishes rather than stay and watch Fantasmic.

It will be our first time here, but I am willing to try it just to experience the atmosphere!

DH and I went for the first time last May and loved it! We're planning a repeat visit in October!
