No breakfast, six bandaids. Off to Animal Kingdom before opening. We fastpass the safari, then go ride Dinosaur twice, not because we really like the ride, but we are trying to get the perfect picture of us looking confused and the wrong way while everyone else stares in horror at the dinosaur. (A great idea I read on these boards) Unfortunately we haven't perfected the technique as yet, will try again next year.

We do the Safari with a good tour guide, he kind of ignores the hokey fake story line as much as possible. In mho, I think Disney should give their guests a little more credit, and realized the Safari is enough and chuck the storyline. We then do Kali River rapids (which we fastpassed earlier, of course) and come out surprisingly dry.

We split a lunch at Flametree Barbecue, and it was fine. As an aside, the portions in Disneyworld are unbelievable, and we are big eaters. We almost always split lunch. I think Disney does this because it doesn't cost that much more to "supersize" everything, and maybe then it makes the rather exorbitant prices more palatable to the public.

We hit out Fastpass time for "Tough to be a Bug" then back home to AKL to pack, shower, change then off to Epcot, as we have not yet walked enough this trip.

Our goal is to ride Mission Space one more time. About 4:30, after standing in crowds with rivulets of sweat running down our backs (but it was a clean sweat!) we achieve our mission. Wow!

Then off to walk the world, get some wine in France, then dinner at Le Cellier. This was a fantastic dinner, not by Disney or World Showcase standards, but the real world. DH had the filet mignon with the mushrooms, I had the prime rib. DH had the maple creme brulee (okay, I ate some, too). And we loved those bread sticks. I would not, however, recommend the canadian cabernet, a woodbridge or some everyday would be better and cheaper. The service was excellent!

Then, as usual, we pull our salmon maneuver and leave the park while everyone streams in for the fireworks. We head back to the pool at AKL and enjoy that until the mosquitos finally win and we retire for the evening.... or so we think....

LOL at your "salmon manuever"- great analogy!
