Ok...what did we do to deserve this???
Today was our day at USF and IOA. I love the coasters at IOA and the fast and the furious cars were at USF and I had to see them .being that Vin Diesel is my future husband .he just hasnt found me yet.
Ok, Im up early and ready to go. DBF is taking his sweet time so I head down to the food court by myself to grab a quick breakfast. I eat my breakfast pizza and still no dbf ..he is supposed to meet me here. Our ride is coming in 10 min so I head back to the room to hurry him along. Oh no...he is already cranky. Oh well...The Hulk will cheer him up. Catch our Mears van and onto IOA. Well when we get there everything seems to be going great. We head over to the hulk and there is only a 30 min. wait so we go to get in line. The ride attendant says we have to put our bags in a locker...they are free for 1 hr. Well ok, we didnt have to last year but we head over to the lockers .wait in line for 10 min to get a locker .stuff in our bags and off we go. Ride the hulk .this is an awesome ride. ...get in line for 10 more minutes to retrieve our stuff from the locker. Ok this is a little irritating but oh well...make the best of it. We head over towards Spiderman but there is a 45 min wait so we decide to try later and off to Dueling Dragons. Dbf is starting to get cranky again so I suggest he eat something since he missed breakfast. He says he isnt hungry. Ok...so start walking again and he is trailing behind by about a good 10 ft. He says I am walking too fast. HMMMM...I dont think so but I slow down. Curiously .the slower I walk the slower he seems to walk...he is still trailing behind. I am beginning to get a little stressed but I let it go. I keep telling myself I am on vacation...I will have fun!!! So I keep walking and pretty soon I turn around to tell him something and he is nowhere to be found. Great!!! I will not be stressed ! I will have fun !!! So I look and look and cant find him so I check in the burger place and there he is. So I calmly ask him why didnt you tell me you were stopping. He says I yelled but you didnt hear me. So at this point I refrained from asking the obvious question of why he didnt yell a little louder then. So I wait while the not hungry dbf inhales his burger and fries. Well, finally make it to DD and have to wait another 10 min in line for a locker. Get in line and proceed to be tortured for the next 30 min by a group of teenagers yelling and screaming just to hear the echo in the castle. Ok, I really wanted to say something to the demon children but since there were about 15 of them and 1 of me trapped in this castle I didnt think it would be a good idea. Finally on the ride ...great ride by the way .and head back to the dreaded locker line. 10 min wait again .only this time another demon teenager decides to cut in front of me right as it is my turn. I really had to hold myself back from yanking this girl out of line by her ponytail. Dbf sees the steam coming out of my ears and jumps in front of me to retrieve our stuff. Punch in the code and it says we owe $2. WELL !!!
I WOULD LOVE TO GET THE $2 BUT IT SEEMS TO BE LOCKED IN THE LOCKER !!!!! Dbf goes off to retrieve someone to open our locker. Meanwhile, people were probably telling their kids dont look at the crazy lady ranting out loud to no one.
A very nice worker comes over and opens our locker and I hand her the $2. She says ...dont worry about it ...this happens all the time. Are you kidding me??? The obvious response would be ...well then maybe they should fix the problem ..but I hold back and thank her again. DBF wants to leave. I said I just spent $200 on tickets .we WILL have fun !!! We had an express pass for the hulk so we head back to ride again. No line for the locker .woo hoo !!! Only one person in front of us..Only problem is this guy opens his locker and stands in front of the computer holding The door and blocking the computer ..he sees us ...I look at him quizzically ..he knows we are waiting to get a locker and yet does not move. Can you feel my pain at this point. Well when he finally decides to move .... several minutes later we finally get a locker and onto the ride. We get off and proceed to repeat this process with the same man .at the same locker now retrieving his belongings. DBF says he wants to do Spiderman now...so off we go silently pondering to myself why this man would not move. DBF and I are so stressed out we dont say a word to each other the entire wait in line for the ride .not because we are mad at each other ..but I think just because we dont have the energy. We decide to do one more show .Poseidons adventure ..which I pretty much didnt see because the entire time we had a family of over 6 FT people that ended up in front of me . Ok, I had had it !!!!! I said I need lunch now !!!!!!!. Leave and head over to Margaritaville vowing never to return to this horrible land again. Sat down .ordered a drink ..aaaaaahhhhh...thats better.
Eat lunch ...try and relax a little and then head over to USF. Even though these are both part of the same complex ...totally different atmosphere here. Got tons of pics with the fast and furious cars ..ahh only to touch where my Vins hands touched. We then head over to ET...very cute and dbfs fav ...MIB. Guess what .more lockers. Get myself and dbf separate lockers because I had purchased some stuff and needed more room. I had both codes. DBF asked to hold his ..are you sure...yes he said. Ok ..no wait .on the ride ..which I am also horrible at ...and back to the lockers. I retrieve my stuff and see dbf standing there with a blank look on his face. I just knew ..you lost the code didnt you??? Well, I had to convince dbf not to cancel his credit cards and just let the locker have his stuff. Found a worker, and dbf and him proceeded to spend about 15 min opening lockers because he couldnt remember which one it was in. Finally get his bag and we are off. On the way out I notice the store with almost extinct animal stuff. I said hang on a sec. I come back out and say ...guess what I found ..a stuffed silverback . Dbf s day is brightened...he goes in and buys the biggest one they had. Head back to the resort. DBF goes for a nighttime swim and I sit at the bar and drink. Head back to the room and go to bed.

Tip to myself - If I ever make it to USF and IOA, I will only bring what I can fit in my pockets. Waiting for the lockers over and over again would make me nuts!
