We decide to sleep in a bit this morning and I vowed to just go with the flow at least until our ps this evening. We decided to head down to the bordwalk for breakfast at spoodles, and then to head over to Typhoon Lagoon for a bit. Hopped the bus to DD which came just as we got to the bus stop...woo hoo....no wait. Alright things were going to go smoothly......I thought. Waited about 15 min for the bus to the boardwalk. Ok, no big deal....still time. What I didn't realize is that the bus stops at the swan, dolphin, beach and yacht clubs before the boardwalk. Apologized to dbf several times because at this point he was starving. Well....a magical spell must have been cast over him during the night.....because he was very sweet ...saying it wasn't my fault and he just enjoyed riding around getting a close up look at these resorts. We finally get to the bordwalk and head over to spoodles.....hmmmm....no one there. So I walk into the candy shop next door and ask if there is anywhere to get b-fast or lunch at this point on the boardwalk. She says ....yeah next door at flying fish. Ok....head over to flying fish......ask the host...when do you begin serving lunch....we don't serve lunch he says......try Big River grill. Ok....over to BRG. YES!!!!!! they are serving lunch. We have a great lunch at BRG and head out to the bordwalk and take some pics. Catch a bus to TL and relax. DBF loves this place. We do a couple of tube rides... wander around...and he wants to do the big slide...Humunga Kowabunga. No way I am doing this one. So I sit and wait while he does the slide. He is so excited ...he is like a little kid. He begs me to do it with him so we can experience it together....yeah right. Again...no way. Up he goes again and loves it. We head over to the wave pool and jump through the waves. I am happy and content where I am so I stay while he goes our deeper. I have learned my lesson in the past with wave pools. Being that he weighs about 240 and I am half that...the big waves that he loves tend to almost drown me.
After about 15 min of that we decide to grab the camera to take some pics. We got some great pics there. If I ever figure out how to post them I will. After this he does one more run on Humunga Kowabunga ....alone.......and we head back to the resort. We shower change and head out to our ps at WP's upstairs. This meal was phenomenal. We had great service, food, and a great view. It was very romantic. At this point he starts talking marriage talk......there must've been something in the margaritas....but all in all it was very romantic. Right as we are ready to leave....it starts to downpour. We wait for while in the entrance way for it to stop. We have to be at the box office for La Nouba at 8:00 and it is about 8:15.....so we make a break for it. Let me tell you .....it is not easy to run in heels. Ok...make it there and not too soggy. Get to the window and guess what I forgot.....the vouchers for tickets. I was ready to cry. DBF put the tickets on his credit card and the cm told us to come back tomorrow with the vouchers and she would credit the card. Now I am very upset. I had wanted this night to be perfect. DBF consoles me and tells me everything worked out and it is perfect because he gets to spend it with me. He really can be a sweetie when it counts. The show was unbelievable. We talked about it all night. We had planned to head to PI afterwards but weren't in the mood so we headed back to the resort and had a few drinks at the pool bar and went to bed.
