Adult Beverages

Based on last year:

Jello shots are $5

Bottled beers are $5.25

Heineken 16oz cans are $5.75 (good value)

14oz mixed drinks are $6.00,

Domestic drafts are $5.50, imports are $6.00,

The souvineer blinky cups are $9.00 with either a drink or with beer. Refills on those are $6.00 for mixed drinks or import beer and $5.50 for domestic beer.

Jager bombs are $8.00.

I hope that helps....

We got the blinky cups last year and refilled with beer. It was expensive but I loved my cup - still have it and it still blinks when you turn it on.:)

They had those in 2005 too so I didn't buy one last year. I still have my glow in the dark cup from 2004...but it doesn't glow anymore. :sad2:

Don't forget about happy hour. I'm not sure if they have it at US, but at IoA I believe it's from 3-5 PM at the watering hole, Alchemy bar, and confiscos. Not sure of exact pricing, i think it's 1/2 price domestic drafts and wines.

Remember to finish your drink IN the park you bought it in. If you purchase in Studios, have to finish it there before you leave (cannot leave w/ it). If you purchase it at CityWalk, must finish it at CityWalk ....can't take it in the parks or walking path to onsite hotels ;)

Weird question -- but does anyone know what kinds of domestic beer are on the vendor's carts??

I only ask because I work for a distributor that sells Miller Lite and Coors Light, and I would be truly horrified if my only option was a Budweiser product. It may force me to only take Jello shots all night, which may be a bad thing.

I'm with you ... we hate Bud! IIRC, the carts also have Miller Lite and Coors Lite. And Heineken too, I think?

The best deal is to go to City Walk to pre-game. We like NBA City which offers 2 for 1 drafts (16 oz) of either Coors Lite, Miller Lite, or Yeungling (so 2 for $4 -- deal!). That goes 4-7pm. Happy Hour in the parks has kind of sucked the past several times we've gone. All the bars were the same: some kind of lame well drink special or $1 off pints of Bud/Bud Lite. That put a pint at $3.50 for Happy Hour. Big deal.

I remember Bud, Miller and sometimes Coors...DH mostly got Miller....but I'm remember Bud at a lot of places

OK, so how is it that you know that? Sounds like you've done your share of drinkin' in the parks! ;) Oh yeah, that's what lockers are for, isn't it! I remember the last time we were there...we had been drinking margaritas and I said I had a buzz and DH said he had a Woody....:confused3

We found that out when trying to leave HHN last year with our lobatomies.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: too funny!!!

Uh, yep....we've been known to use lockers just to hold our beverages while riding :rolleyes1

Mof, found that out last summer while there. Apparently the Islands has it's own license, Studios their own, and City Walk it's own. It's licensed by area vs. individual establishment....so each of the three "areas" is considered a licensed establishement and the same rules apply as if it were a restaurant/bar. No bringing alcohol into (or out of) each area due to legal/liability issues ;)

Some of the beer carts had Michelob Ultra last year as well.
