Hello!
We are sailing on the Magic in April. For anyone that has sailed recently, are the adult shows still happening at night? THANK YOU! Cheers!

There was a Match your Mate in January.

There also was a Puppet show. However, only 5-8 showed up for that one, and it was a command performance, very good.

We sailed on the Dream 2/21. We had Match Your Mate, Karaoke, Pop, Snippets, Silent DJ, all the usual in house (in ship?) entertainment. There was no variety act brought on board such as the hypnotist, ventriloquist, magician, etc...

We did however have both a pianist and violinist who played in the District Lounge. Oddly enough we found the pianist playing in the atrium after midnight on our last night. That was different! :confused3 :goodvibes

Yes, anything after 10 pm on Disney was rare on our cruise, except the New Year's celebration. Although by 12:10 am, everyone had cleared out of the atrium and gone to bed. Quite a difference from my first cruise on another line where the night club didn't even open until 2 am!

I'm ok with early ... not really looking for late night stuff. I'm just hoping there are a few adult activities like they usually have after 2nd seating!

This actually was just about 12:10 as we were leaving Evolution and heading back to our room. As we walked through Shutters we heard the music downstairs. We went down, sat and listened for a while. Besides a random drunk guy (with his glass of wine) who plopped himself down on the stage where the piano is, and few people occasionally walking by up a floor, no one was around.

We can usually find entertainment up until at least 11:30, sometimes 12:00, but after that there's nothing.

We did the Magic in January and there were the usual adult activities. Going again in April and can't wait!!! But, they only performed 2 main stage shows....Tangled and Disney Dreams. The first night they had a performer but we didn't go. One night Encanto was shown in the WD Theatre as the show. Ours was a 5 night cruise.

THANK YOU for ALL the details!!!

Are the adult areas 21 and up?
18. The 18-20 yr olds have a special designation on their cards so they can't buy alcohol, but can access adult areas. My oldest was 18 on our last cruise (Magic, Baltic sea) and enjoyed the adult entertainment with us, especially Graffiti Classics (a comedic string troupe from London) as she's been playing violin since 3rd grade.

One of the cons of DCL. I feel like things shouldn't die until at least 1 am
Well, I suspect the type of passengers DCL draws are the reason things close up early. Disney cruisers are of the "early to bed, early to rise" mindset.

Our oldest son showed up to Match Your Mate with a bunch of the other 18-20 kids. We were there with some friends we'd made in our cruise group. It was kind of hilarious to watch these young kids there, and they eventually left early. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves though!
