ADR's?

We are heading to WDW the end of this month! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I've made a few ADR's for breakfast (Cindy's, Breakfastosaurus, Chef Mickey's, and 1900 Park Fare) and a few for dinner (Whispering Canyon, Hoop Dee Doo, Teppenyaki's)

The rest of the meals we will most likely just get counter service - burgers, dogs, fries on the go.

We haven't mapped out of days and probably won't do so until we get down there - how hard do you think that it will be to get same day lunch reservations for places like Crystal Palace and Primetime?

It's so funny because I've been to those places times where you could just walk right in and times when they were turning people away. Why don't you just make the reservation and cancel it if you don't want it. I'm of the safer than sorrier camp!! :)

i called yesterday to confirm all of my ADR's and the cm asked if there any other ressies i wanted to make. I told her we would probably wing it and she strongly suggested that i call back to make some.

At Crystal Palace I don't think I've ever seen them have availability for walkups. We have also had a ADR there and have always waited a long time to be seated even with the ADR and have heard them announce many, many times to the people waiting in line "If you don't have a PS then we are full for the day". Same thing with Primetime. We've had ADR's there and have tried to change the time the day before or day of and have had no luck. That place too I have very often heard "If you don't have a PS we're full". I would make the ADRs and then cancel them if you don't want to go.

It ain't your father's Disney World! Make some ADRs for those dates.

We've heard of smaller parties being able to walk in on restaurants, right when they open at 5:00 p.m. and getting seated.

Lunch may or may not be easier. It's a gamble you will just have to take if you don't have ADRs.

We willl be there 10/27- 11/6 and have made our ADR's for everyday! I'm not sure if it is my obsessive planning nature or just my excitement for the upcoming trip! Needless to say having our ADRs for Breakfast and Dinner is a sure way of knowing I will get a relaxing meal to start and end my day and then we can always cancel if our plans change!
Whatever you decide to do- have a great time!

PS: I'm from NJ as well! :earboy2:
