:sad2: I'm somewhat bummed and trying to decide - to adr or not to adr that is the question...atleast for now. We booked back in January for a december trip, knowing full well that we were taking advantage of a great deal and we may or may not be able to go. Hubbie said he was willing, but everytime I asked him if he put in for the days off work he said not yet. He never has although the fact that we were hoping to go in december did come up when we went out for dinner with his boss a couple of months ago. So anyway 2 weeks ago hubbie tells me that he doesn't think he is going to be able to get away that week... Well we have the 40% off code and while cancelling shouldn't be an issue changing it will be difficult. And he cant go the week before either or the following week because it's Christmas. Or the week after that. They have some major stuff planned at work for the 3 weeks surrounding Christmas. I am so Bummed. But he hasn't officially called off the vacation....

So Sunday is my 180 date and this week was supposed to find me checking out all the latest reviews etc and I just cant seem to get into it knowing that we have gone from this might not happen to it probably won't happen...:confused3 Would you book the adr's anyway? I already held off booking the Christmas Party tickets since they are non refundable. But I keep thinking how even the meals I would have to prepay would be refundable and I should just go ahead...but everytime I sit down to think about it, I just get sad.

I would go ahead and book. Today was my 180 day for ADRs for our December trip, so I called and booked during my lunch break. I couldn't believe that some of the restaurants were already pretty picked over for times available. My daughter really wanted Chef Mickey's for breakfast, the day I asked for only had like two available times left (7:50 am or 10:40 am). I couldn't believe at more than 180 days out there was that little of a choice left for Chef Mickeys. I know other restaurants are hard to get into, like Cinderella's Royal Table, but Chef Mickey's I didn't think I would have any problems. So if I were you, I would call and book them just in case you can go. Then if it turns out you have to cancel call as soon as you find out you won't be going so other people can have those spots. Good luck, hope everything works out for you.

I would go ahead and book my ADR's if I were you. Christmas is the time for miracles after all. Keep believing! Maybe if all else fails, you could go with someone else.

Well my husband got confirmation that they wont being doing whatever it is that week. Woo hoo.... I guess things could change and he still doesn't officially have the week off but i feel better.
