Who's Making ADRs Today? 6/8/2009

We got almost all things too- NO LE CELLIER FOR DINNER!!! NONE! NOT ONE! I am so mad! The whole week we are there NOT one stinkin table for dinner!
Then no F! packages besides Brown Derby on the 10th! Again ridiculous!
I got the Hoop Dee Doo- but cat3- oh well, last year the seats were good!
I did get Ohana for dinner-and some great breakfasts, plus some other nice dinners too, but we really wanted that Le Cellier! I was hoping we would get lucky, but no such luck!

Overslept, but got right through @7:45. Got my California Grill ressies for our 20th anniversary dinner, so I'm a happy camper.

Try again sometime next week, something may open up. I have read that has been the case for some people. Don't get discouraged!

Okay, so I only needed five reservations, but I got them all, PRETTY much at the time I wanted. I did not get the Fantasmic package with my meal, they were all gone for Sept. 10th except for Brown and Derby (did not want to use 2 TS credits). So, we'll deal with crowds. On the bright side, we don't have to eat dinner at 3:30pm now!


Chef Mickey's Sept. 6th 7:05pm (wanted 6pm but know how popular this is so I took it!)

CRT Sept. 7th 8:15am (wanted 8:05)

T-Rex Sept. 8th 6 pm (wanted 6 pm)

Mama Melrose Sept 10th 5:40pm (did NOT get Fantasmic package, but wanted it! Darn!!!)

Chef Mickey's Sept 11th 11:15am (wanted 11:30)

Got what I wanted the with exception of the fantasmic package, so I got MM for 540pm, then will go to fantasmic or do it that thursday. Even got CG at 740pm so hopefully I can see Wishes. Real happy, 1st time I called for ADR's

I don't need Le Cellier this trip. If I get it that's great, if not that's fine. So I'm not worried about that one.

The one that concerns me most is 'Ohana. I need either 9/8 (1st choice), 9/10 (2nd choice), or 9/12 (3rd choice and not a night I really want, but I was trying to be flexible, lol). It's a must-do for my DD and she'll be disappointed if we don't get that one.

I am staying at the Coronado Springs- all we wanted for the last three years was a dinner at Le Cellier and never have been able to get it, NOT ONCE!~ I thought labor day week we could do it, but NOPE! can you tell I am bitter? lol!

Staying at POP from 9/6-9/15

I called at 6:59 but DH's alarm clock went off at 7:00 and I couldn't hear a thing. I think because I couldn't respond to the prompts I waited on hold a bit longer. Curse him and his alarm clock! Doesn't he realize how important this is?! Anyway, here is what I got. I think I did pretty good. We got every reservation we wanted each day.

9/6- Whispering Canyon Cafe 9:00 PM (A little later than I wanted but I needed something later just in case our flight was delayed.)
9/7-LeCellier- 1:10 (There were no dinner times available all week. Also, this was our first choice day.)
9/8- Liberty Tree Tavern- 6:35 (We wanted 6.)
9/9- Tutto Italia- 6:00
9/10- Yak and Yetti- 1:00
9/11- Wolfgang Puck Cafe 5:30 (We wanted 5:00.)
9/12- Crystal Palace 6:10
9/13- 50's Prime Time Cafe 6:45 ( We wanted 5:00.)

Staying at the Poly

I got everything we wanted around the times I wanted- except for Ohana's- nothing at all for Tues. Sept 8, they still had Thurs. the 10th and Sat. the 12th- but both late times- 8:50- so I took the Thurs. I told my kids and they are actually excited to be eating so late!

9th 50's primetime lunch

Other than Ohanas I don't think we had any hard to get places- but I'm thankful we got everything we wanted!

I was thinking about starting a new thread on this- but I'll just say- if you want Ohanas- it's probably not a bad idea to have a plan B and plan C just in case (I went up to plan D- but I'm kinda neurotic about planning!).

I am so jealous of your Le Cellier time! that is what we wanted and couldn't get!

I just got off the phone....30 minutes from the time I dialed to the time I hung up and that included being put on hold so the CM could call their tech support. Not bad.


We are staying 9 nights going into Labour day weekend and I got 6 of my first choice places and 2 of my second choices. All at times that are within 10 - 20 minutes of my preferred time. I would say that is a total success.

I still need to book the HDDR but the system is not premitting any bookings of that right now. The CM said to try back in a little while.

Overall,

Couldn't get Le Cellier on Friday, but that wasn't high on my list.

Fantasmic packages at Mama Melrose for Thursday were also gone, but I went ahead and booked it anyway. There were still Fantasmic packages available at Hollywood and Vine.

So, the ADRs are:
Ohana - Sunday, 5:10 pm
Chef Mickey's - Monday, 5:30 pm
CRT - Wednesday, 8:35 am
Mama Melrose - Thursday, 5:35 pm
Teppan Edo - Friday, 5:30 pm

Congrats on getting what you wanted! We'll be there the week before you. I tried to book a Fantasmic Dinner package for Mama Melrose this morning as well, since Sept hours are out now. They were already gone. The only time we'll be able to see F! is Sept 3rd and I guess we'll be waiting in line. I had the F! dinner package at H&V for our trip in April. It was absolutely the WORST meal I've ever eaten at WDW. You honestly couldn't pay me to go back there.

Man! Those are my A, B and C dates. I thought I was being flexible. I have never even needed a B before. I have always gotten exactly the date I wanted and within 30 minutes of the time I wanted. And I can't even make my ADRs until tomorrow.

Same with me- I never had alternate plans in the past. The only reason I did it this time was because of reading some of the threads here and reading how people couldn't get Ohana's for their whole trip. Good luck though- you never know, there might have been some cancellations. One word of advice, I went out of order on the reservations and asked for the Ohana dates first.
