ADRs online vs over the phone?

I can't answer your question exactly, I would assume you are correct though. For our trip last August I booked all our dining online and I personally liked making my own reservations online better because I could see all the different times that were open (or weren't) and you can choose to look over a period of days. You can also play around with time increments and see if that helps your situation any. I was able to book two 'Ohana dinners at the last minute by doing it online. I have never had that same luck when I've called Dining. It's probably just be a coincidence, but I'll be booking online from now on.

In my experience, yes, they are the same system. But don't give up! You never know at any given moment what might change! I made all my reservations 180 days in advance (that was back in October), but decided to tweak one dinner reservation about a week ago. I got what I wanted... Good Luck!

Thanks!!!!! Ugh, I think I have no hope... I was looking into Le Cellier... I had no idea it was impossible to eat there LOL.

its the same but when calling they can check the whole week if there is any an opening. Keep trying b/c people are always changing plans.

Keep trying. I had an ADR for Le Cellier at 11:30am for next week and I just cancelled it as we aren't going until September. I had forgotten all about it but when I logged into the site, I noticed it was still there so I cancelled to give someone else the place. The point is, people cancel all the time so keep trying!!

So, I loooove the online system. Love love love it.

Couldn't score Le Cellier though - and I have been obsessive about checking.

Saw a post where someone said to call Disney Dining for Le Cellier - so I did - and got it!!!

For some reason this particular restaurant wasn't showing online, but I got it on my 1st call! Random!

I love the online system also. I like to see everything that is available when making my reservation. I usually choose dinner/lunch so the system tells me what is available and then I pick the time I want. If you aren't able to get what you want online it wouldn't hurt to call Disney Dining just to check with them.
