ADRs - Nightmares

Does anyone else have these? I have 62 days till I can book mine and am constantly waking up in a cold sweat

It is not like we havent been before but it is my DH 40th and have a few things planned (well will have when I make up my mind!!). I know it wont be the end of the world if I dont get what I want but I keep having a dream that I forget to phone I not even sure if I will have decided in 62 days when I want to do these things

Thank goodness I am not on the Dining Plan

Jackie, I totally understand what you mean. Even though I have made mine, I am still second-guessing myself and then keep thinking I haven't remembered to book everything I wanted and we will end up missing out on something we really hoped for - so stupid

We go in less than 6 months but I haven't booked any yet. I'm sure we will be able to get in to various places - we were still able to do walkups quite a few times in October. I will book some before we go but not many.

I'm going in spet next year for my wedding, will i be able to just walk up to certain places or will i have to make ADR's with a large group I'm not sure who would want what so its a bit hard making bookings 180 days in advance

Last time I was in Chefs de France, we were waiting to be seated and my nephew counted 37 people turned away without reservations in a 10 minute period. Walk ups are available but not during busy periods. I have booked all of mine, at least then we can cancel if we don;t fancy them. It's easier to cancel thank it is to make bookings when you get there.

do you need a credit card to make them??

So for sep you think make them and then cancel if need be??

What if I landed and then tried to make them would that be ok??

We have never made them before when its just been me and Fiance but this time we have others that have never been before so want them to experience it all

I would definitely make them for September. You do not need a credit card except for the two dining credit restaurants, I believe.

Restaurants tend to get booked up for busy periods and also from 5-8pm for dinner. Last year we made reservations for the whole of our trip and several we cancelled and moved but unfortunately it was the timings that was a problem with the restaurants for re-booking. Also it's fun going through the different menues and seeing what you would like. All Ears site is very good for menus
