I know this has probably been asked hundreds of times, but how far in advance can you make ADR's? Is it easy to make them online? I am planning for May.

Thanks!!!! :goodvibes

That depends on the restaurant. The sooner you can make your plans the better but I realize it isn't always easy to plan that far in advance.

I don't have much experience with the latest round of 180 day booking as it was 90 days the last time I booked but regardless of 90 or 180 days, places like Le Cellier and 'Ohanna should be booked as soon as possible. Places like Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey can also be difficult. And of course CRT.

Other places like many resort restaurants or those at Downtown Disney can be booked much closer to your date.

They just switched back to the 180 days.

The online system is very temperamental. Some days it works fine, others it doesn't.

What I would do on the day your booking window opens is try to make them online, whenever it is that the system will let you...I've heard anywhere between 3am-6am. Then if doesn't work, call when the phone lines open at 7am. That's what I had to do last time I made ADR's.

Thanks for the info. I was confused about the 90 vs 180 day window... got it now. :thumbsup2

I've just made a whole host of ADRs on line at 180 days out.

You still can't book the Fantasmic Dinner Packages on line (you have to call) and I think you have to call for Victoria & Alberts too but as far as I can tell, all other restaurants are 180 days out now.

It is 6am start time for on-line bookings at 7am for phone bookings

Hope you get everything you are looking for :goodvibes

We're going in May (7-14) and I just made our ADRs at my 180 day window (Nov. 8) and had NO problems getting everything I wanted at the exact time (or within 15 minutes) I wanted. If you know the dates you're going, even if you haven't booked your resort, go ahead and make your ADRs. If something changes you can always cancel them. But you don't want to be up a creek without a paddle if you wait too long.

I did them all online, and had no issues at all. Very easy :)

Yes, definitely book them 180 days ahead, which is happening now for May. If you do it online, it opens at 6 AM Eastern time; telephone opens at 7 AM.

You have to call for the Fantasmic Dining package, and at least this week, they're not always "loaded into the reservation system" 180 days out (at least they aren't for me today).

The phone number is 407-939-3463.

Here's a calculator that tells you when your 180 day window opens up.

Here's a great and easy explanation from this board of how to go about making ADRs online.
