The internet had me so nervous about making my ADRs.

However, I had a good experience today. We got 14 of 15 of our choices (including many "hard to get" ones), all within +/- 1 hour of when I wanted them (many exactly as planned), mostly during peak times. The online system performed well. I was online at exactly 6:00am on 180+10, and was finished by about 6:40am.

Oddly, the only ADR I couldn't get was Sci Fi - there was nothing showing. I called and they said its possible tables haven't been released yet. My Tusker House b'fast is later than I want, so I will have to think about that one. Otherwise, I'm pleased with everything we got. I realize some of the success is because we're not going during a peak time (mid-May).

But, stay positive - it might be a good experience for you, too! In no particular order, here are the reservations we got:

Be Our Guest Restaurant - DINNER - 6:20PM
Cinderella's Royal Table - LUNCH - 12:20PM
'Ohana - DINNER - 7:00PM
Le Cellier Steakhouse - DINNER - 7:00PM
50's Prime Time Café - LUNCH - 12:40PM
The Crystal Palace - BFAST - 8:30AM
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall - BFAST - 8:30AM
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue Category 1-3rd Show
Yak & Yeti™ Restaurant - LUNCH - 1:30PM
Fantasmic! Dinner Package Mama Melrose's - 5:50PM
Liberty Tree Tavern - DINNER - 6:30PM
Tusker House Restaurant - BFAST - 9:10AM
The Wave - LUNCH - 12:20PM
Teppan Edo - LUNCH - 1:20PM
Tony's Town Square Restaurant - LUNCH - 1:30PM

those are some good choices, and I'm glad you got most of what you wanted...isn't mid-May during Star Wars weekends at HS? (I'm not certain if your dates are during that time) that could be why Sci-fi was more popular than expected.

This same thing mysteriously happened to me yesterday with Hollywood and Vine. I couldn't get breakfast or lunch for either of my first choice of days. And this was at my 180 day reservation time.

After some research it appears that this has something to do with Star Wars Weekends. They may be planning something at these restaurants for that time. I was able to book a lunch later in our week and after reading about SWW, I actually called Disney to confirm that I'd booked the Disney Jr meal instead of a Star Wars one. The girl that I talked to didn't know anything about it and actually said that Disney hadn't even "officially" announced when Star Wars stuff was going to be. She agreed with me though that it was very weird to not be able to book H&V this far out. So although she didn't officially tell me anything, it seemed like that's what she was implying.

Yesterday was my 180 day mark and I couldn't get H&V for the second morning. I was shocked then I finally found a breakfast reservation for Thursday. I had to change a couple of things around but it worked out. I have read that H&V and Sci Fi are not accepting dinner reservations because of SWW.

I also had a good experience this morning. I was able to get everything I wanted. I seemed to have my choice of BOG dinners. Even my arrival day was available. I seemed to have more availability all around than I did for my October 2013 trip. I called a bit later and got a 8:30 MK BBB appointment for my daughter for her birthday with a very pleasant CM. All in all, a great Disney morning. Just 180 days to go! :woohoo:

I also ran into the same problem as others that the only thing I couldn't get was H&V lunch on 5/11 (day 2 of my trip). Seemed odd. I was able to get it for 5/15, which is the reported first day of SWW, so it leaves me confused. We are hoping for Disney Jr. character meal.

Was the CM able to confirm it would be Disney Jr. at lunch?
