How does the ADR and free dining plan work? For example, I booked 3 separate reservations on-line. One for me, DH, and DD9. Then I booked one for my DMom and DDad. Then I booked a 3rd one for my in-laws (MIL, FIL, SIL). When I go to make our ADRs next week do I need to call or can I still do it on-line? Will I need to give them all 3 reservation #s?

Finally, my cousin might be joining us. A couple of people sugguested that it might be easier if we have him added to our count when making the ADRs, and cancel him later on, if he doesn't go, than it would be to call and add him later. Since we are on the DDP, will he have to be part of the reservations first before I can even book the ADRs? So should I go ahead and just add him to our reservation now, before doing my ADRs and if I have to, cancel him before the 45 day final payment is due?

What would you do in this situation? The ADR, I am most worried about is the CRT one, since we have to use 2 credits to get this one, and it's a prepaid meal usually, so not sure how they handle this when you are on the meal plan.

Yes, you can do it online. You can make the reservations for as many people as you want using just one reservation number.

The DDP has nothing to do with the reservation stage, nor does the 45 day final payment on resort packages. You can add or remove your cousin at any time, assuming there is availability. Because of the possible lack of availability for your large party later - to add one person you would have to rebook the entire party - it's suggested that you add him now and then either remove him if he can't come, or show up without him (which you probably shouldn't do with CRT - if he's not coming, get him removed, and do it at least 2 days before you have to report for the meal).

Try to make the CRT reservation online with your resort reservation and dining plan. Sometimes it doesn't work. If it does work, you shouldn't be charged anything, but you will have to give your credit card as a guarantee against no-shows. If it doesn't work and it asks you to pay in full even after you have given your resort reservation, you may have to call WDW-DINE and make the reservation that way. CRT and dinner shows are the only restaurant reservations you might have to do that with.

Thank you so much, that helps a lot. Yes, we should know by the 45 day point whether he is coming or not, and I can easily call and cancel him at any point before our trip if he can't come.
