ADRs for someone else???

Here's the situation. I'm heading down to WDW in Dec. I have friends that are going at the same time..we are not traveling or staying together. These friends won't be making ADRs...trying to do things as inexpensively as possible due to some crappy stuff in their lives..but they are going to WDW and thrilled about it. So....I want to book a few (2 or 3)ADRs for them...CRT as one of them. Then I would give them a Disney gift card to cover the cost. My question...if I make these ADRs but under my reservation number, will they have any issues getting into the restaurants? I'm most concerned about CRT..if I book, and pay with my credit card, then they show up...will they be asked for any type of ID or such??? I would try to make the CRT ADRs in their names if possible but I would pay for them.
I really don't want to ask for their reservation number...it may look suspicious.
Any thoughts or advice??
