ADRs for late September...

We are arriving September 30...UNFORTUNATELY I have not made ANY ADRs yet. Has anyone booked lately for this time and gotten decent ressies? I'm thinking about the following:

LTT
LeCellier
Ohana
San Angel Inn
Garden Grill
Hollywood and Vine or Brown Derby
50's Prime Time
Hoop Dee Doo

What do you think my chances are of getting any of these?

Call and check. People are always changing their ADRs. In fact I called just yesterday and canceled ADRs for Sept 6th at Garden Grill and Chefs de France and for Sept 7th at Mama Melrose. They were for three people, if anyone wants them. I was able to rebook Garden Grill and Chefs de France for later times and was able to get 50's Prime Time for Sept 7th. In each case I was offered a variety of times.

Keep this in mind - if you can't get a dinner ressie, you can try for a very late lunch (lunch served until 4 PM at most places). Have fun on your trip!

We are going Sept. 21-28 and made our ADR"S at 180 days out and got what we wanted, that was quite a while ago. So you better start calling.

Ohana
San Angel Inn
Garden Grill - got a lunch reservation
Hollywood and Vine or Brown Derby - couldn't get Brown Derby, but Hollywood and vine is available and as of two days ago the Fantasmic package was still available with H&V too.
50's Prime Time - got a reservation for lunch
Hoop Dee Doo - no spots available for Dining points - but I got tickets and paid OOP...... hope it's worth it.

What do you think my chances are of getting any of these?

We are going 9/20-9/27 and I just finalized our reservations this week. If you can be flexible, I think you can get most of these in. Also, I was booking a party of 8 - so if you have fewer people you may have better luck than me.

I made all my adrs last week for our september/october trip. We're on the dxddp so I have 27 adrs!

The only place I couldn't get at all was Le Cellier, every where else I had no issue with getting lunches at 12ish and dinners around 7:30. On your list, I'm only going to ltt and got a lunch ressie no problem.

We are doing the HDDR also OOP but we chose to do so that gave us 2 extra TS one for us to go to Coral Reef and one for last day breakfast at Crystal Palace. Great show been there twice before, you get app., entree, dessert and tax and tip are included and all the beer or wine you can drink also included.

So far the only one on my list I was able to get was a Hoop Dee Doo late seating

Guess I will keep trying.

i just booked for that time period and got nearly everything i wanted 'cept i had to compromise on CRT and take a diff't night than originally planned (but 2nd choice night was available)...

we have garden grill, cape may (dinner and breakfast), cali grill, 1900 park fair, yak/yeti, 'ohana, crystal palace, whispering canyon, spoodles, luau, crt, chef mickey's, and a few others... oh, and in case you're wondering, we're on the deluxe plan!

I'm sorry you didn't get into the places that you had wanted We are travelling near the time you are and I just booked everything in the last two weeks and got CRT dinner, Crystal Palace, Sci-Fi, Chef Mickey, HDDR, Aloha spirit, Teppen Edo, Coral reef among others. We are doing the deluxe plan too - does that make a difference in making reservations? CMs do ask what plan you are on when determining if there is space...... could it be that maybe there are more spaces available if you are on the deluxe plan?

no, it should make no difference... as a matter of fact, when i called to make all of mine (about 3 days ago), i simply said "dining plan" and part of the way thru my adrs the cm told me that i was out of credits (either she was counting or the computer calculates?) 'til i told her DELUXE... but i had secured at least 9 of my ADRs already...

to the OP... try again... and just curious, how many of you are there? we are a party of 5 (2A,2C,1Infant)... also, did you look at hours/EMHs/etc? i know i had a problem getting anything in MK/MK area on MNSSHP nights... that might make a difference...

I called back again, myself this time. (My TA tried the first time). Calling myself I got: Prime Time, San Angel, and Ohana. Still really want LTT and LC. I tried for LTT a couple different days (no MNSSHP, but one is the EMH night that I would like) We do have 11 people in our party (6 adults, 2C, 3 infants), so I know thats not helping. I told them they can break us up, but the CM I spoke to wasn't hopeful that I would be able to get LTT or LC, because either a big group would need to cancel or 3 separate parties and I would have to call at the exact right moment. Make sense?

I will keep trying anyway.
