ADRs at New Tusker House Breakfast???

I tried to make ADRs for our November trip and the CM said they were not taking them yet. She said they had no idea when they would start. Let's keep our ears open and let each other know when they start. I really need a character breakfast on my AK day.

I know Donald will be there, since it's going to be "Donald's Safari Breakfast", and it's taking the place of Donald's Breakfastosaurus.

No. Restaurantosaurus will be strictly counter service (McDonald's) for lunch and dinner after the change. Tusker House will be an all day buffet, but will only have characters for breakfast (safari themed). I know I read Donald and Daisy, and I think Mickey and Pluto.

Thanks for the info . I hadn't read about this yet. A character meal with Daisy would be nice....she is one of the few I haven't spotted yet.

I know this is an old thread, but I couldn't help but post.

I called today to make some reservations for a few places in January. I asked about the new AK breakfast and the CM said they still didn't know when reservations would be taken for it. Just fyi.

Couldn't wait any longer. Booked breakfast at the Rainforest. The only problem is the earliest they had was 8:30. That only gives us 1/2 hour until opening. Still debating the breakfast.

We're hoping to get in Dec. 14 but I am starting to run out of patience! I also keep forgetting that ADR isn't done and I am afraid I will miss it once they DO start booking.

We booked Rainforest too. It is my daughters birthday and I prefer the buffet. We love the Breakfastasauras. Hoping Tusker House finishes reno's early.

Has anyone ever had breakfast at Rainforest and if so how is it?

I also tried to get reservations for our Feb trip. I will keep trying and let you know.

I just got off the phone with reservations. The CM told me that when the Breakfastasaurus closes this November, they won't be doing a CB at AK. I asked her if it was still moving to Tusker House and she said they were "closing it forever" on November 30th. I might call back again later today to see what someone else says and when I'm more awake. If this is true, it's really disappointing.

The more I think about it, the more I think she misunderstood me. But I did ask if it was still moving to Tusker House and she said no.

Hmmm, I hope that was wrong too. We really really wanted to try the new Breakfast at AK next year. This year we stuck to the snack carts and had a bagel and some danish/muffins for breakfast LOL
