Today was my ADR 180 + 10 date! Having read the problems everyone's having with the 12 digit number (I booked through Virgin and don't have a 5 + 3 number) I called Disney yesterday and they assured me it would work for booking ADRs online. Not so! Instead I've made them by calling the (hopefully free) phone. I managed to get all the reservations I wanted (inc CRT and Le Cellier, and Fantasmic package at Hollywod Brown). I wanted T-Rex too but am told they take mostly walk-ups between 4 and 7 pm so we'll take our chances. I found I was able to book up to Monday 20 Aug, which by my reckoning is actually 180 + 11 so that was a bonus.

I had a couple of problems booking Wolfgang Puck Dining Room, being told first it wasn't on the dining plan, then being told it was a 5 course dinner only. When I finally got everything sorted I found they'd booked for 5 instead of 4. It's so annoying having to make another call about that rather than amending it yourself online.

Also, despite having DDP, I had to give my credit card number, but hey ho.

You saying you didn't get a T-rex res? I advise getting one if at all possible, we went last year walk up and had over 1 hour wait, far better to have a res, we took an 8pm res no problem for this August. Just checked 8th August and can book 6pm online without linking to DDP, availabilty is there for some reason CM's struggle a little. I also had trouble with them booking me San Angel Inn, I waited until 180 days and booked it online myself, any time I wanted.
I waited til 180 days for most mine this time rather than 180+10 thru dining phone number, they have not been the best this year, past years far more efficient.

If you phoned the US dining number then it's not free. I couldn't make bookings so I phoned and they couldn't even find my reservation (something about UK/US not talking to each other) I was on the phone for about 20 minutes and it cost about £6 when I checked the bill.

If you don't have free calls in your package you should always use a low cast intermediate, I use Telediscount.co.uk who charge 1p/min but there are many others.
Martin Lewis has a page to check cheapest options http://callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/intcallchecker/
Some need you to make an account others like Telediscount don't, 1p/min is far better than 30.64p/min(& 12.24p connection) Virgin would charge me.

I had trouble getting T-Rex for the original date & time wanted. I changed the date & was offered 5pm (wanted 6.30). I think it will be busy with just coming on to DDP so I would try to book if I were you.

No, I wasn't able to get a res for T-REX at all, and you've confirmed my fears that it wonlt be easy to get a walk-up. I'll try again when I ring to book the rest of our ADRs over the coming days. And I called the 0800 number which I think has to be free from a landline?
