Here is a rundown of my ADRs for our Oct Poly CL DxDP. Restaurants listed without times are either to be made later (Luau) or on hold as a walk up. I'm a bit concerned about the availability of walk ups, particularly at Kona and appreciate advice on those that may be necessary.

Yes, that is three MNSSHP! pirate:

I was totally shut out of Chef Mickey's breakfast at an acceptable time EVERY SINGLE DAY and also Ohana dinner Saturday night although that wasn't a big priority for me. DW was kind of looking forward to Cape May dinner but the only day it works for us is Saturday and I think Fulton's will satisfy her seafood craving for awhile.

If you know where you want to go and you seem to know when you want to go, why not just make the reservations vs. the walk-up plan?

The only place I think a walk-up is a reasonable approach is Olivia's. The rest will be a crap shoot as to whether you can get in.

Since you've already chosen your restaurants and when you want to eat at them why not just go ahead and make the reservations. Taking the time to get to the restaurants, then having the possiblility of a long wait or being turned away would be frustrating to me. You said you couldn't get Chef Mickey's at "an acceptable time" on any day, but doing walk ups means taking that same risk every time.

However...you're going to have a lot of food between CL and the DxDDP, but I noticed many days with 3 TS meals planned and quite a few early dinners. You won't have much time between meals - for example on Fri 12th and Wed 17th. When we've done the DxDDP we found 2 TS meals a day to be plenty. We used a lot of our credits on signature dinners and we had a TS breakfast or lunch each day, but not both. If we got hungry, a light snack in between worked well.

With the number of walk ups you listed it will be inevitable that on some days breakfast or lunch will end up later than you planned and by dinnertime the ADRs that you've already made might feel too soon to eat again.

I think you should reduce the number of meals planned or make reservations if you want 3 scheduled meals a day.

I wanted a little flexibility with some of the meals although I'm usually not a fool when it comes to the realities of the ADR system. Except for free dining periods I don't seem to have trouble getting walk ups at LTT and Biergarten. WCC and Kona are my two wildcards that I have no experience with. I am using two credits each on SoA, CRT and Fulton's which seems like a sufficient number of signature meals without making DW or I feel out of place although I'll take a second look at that. Certain dietary restrictions dictate that I usually eat earlier than some people but I plan on getting snacks in the CL in the later evenings.
