ADR update frequency question

I apologize if this is common knowledge that I have failed to mine from the Board, but how often does the website for ADR update? Namely, does it refresh only once daily, or is it kept 'live' as cancelations and reservations are made throughout the day? I've been suspecting the latter, but am unsure.

My understand is if someone drops a reservation it shows up in the system as available right away. However I do think they hold back reservations. For weeks I was trying to get a better time for Via Napoli. Nothing was available. Then one day there were tons of times.

I also agree that they hold back ADR's. On my 180 dsy mark last week, I tried for Via Napoli on my 10th (which should never be a problem usually on the 10th day!) and there were no tables. I went on the next day and a bunch of times showed up.

I don't know if they really hold back ADRs, or just decide to increase staff, which would allow for a higher turnover rate. Whatever the reason, it amounts to the same thing - that more ADRs become available for us.

But yes, the system updates immediately.

I hope they do open some more reservations up, November has been pretty impossible to get ADRs for Epcot especially...
