I have an ADR question. Do you have to have a reservation at a WDW hotel or resort to make one? So far I have made all of my ADR's for between June 15 and the 20th when we are staying at the AKV. But, if I can convince DH, we may go two days earlier and stay either off site or at a value resort on property. Just in case I would like to make a couple ADRs. I know when I made the other ressies they asked me for my hotel reservation #. Any help to clarify this question would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You can do them 180 days before your trip. See if you're on property, you can make them 180 days plus the next 10 days of your trip instead of calling back every day of your trip at 180 days out. If you're not on property, you just have to call back every day at 180 days out.

Did that make sense? :lmao:

Wow thanks! So that is not much of an advantage to those staying on WDW property (only 10 days). I will get to calling then just in case I can convince DH.

Well, the +10 helps for those tough to get places like Le Cellier and CRT. It's just good to know that you probably had the best choices of times and stuff like that. No problem! Enjoy your trip!

And the plus ten days gives most people the advantage of making all their dining reservations with just one phone call.

I just wait til I'm at 180 days from my last day and call since we stay at SOG. I'll surivive if I don't get my exact ADR, but our last trip, I got everyone I asked for. I'll do the same this time. I don't have time to fool with it from work everyday.
