It looks over-kill, but I like to plentiful ADR's for when we travel to Disney world with our little ones. (when they are hungry, it gets ugly...and we love character dining) The boys will be 4 and almost 2 when we travel to Disney World at the end of January. I used crowd touring plans from unofficial guide for the main planning component and what we have done in the past (what has worked). I'm trying to figure out where to fit in Epcot/Biergarten for dinner. Can you look this over and give feedback. It will be me, dh, dd (2), dd (4), and dfil, dmil. We are staying at BLT and will be going back to the villa every afternoon for naptime, unless one of us stays out with our 4 year old, but that might be too much for him. We are pretty laid-back about Disney, don't try to push too much and will make changes where necessary. Our 4 year old is an early riser, so we will have no problem getting to the parks early.....

For your Monday plans- I think Garden Grove (at the Swan) is not on the DDP.

Did you mean Garden Grill? It no longer serves lunch, but is a great dinner option for families :thumbsup2

Where are you finding the best and worst days to go to the parks? We're going the last week of Jan as well, first week of Feb and I'm trying to schedule our dining plan around all this but would like to know what days are best/worst for all the parks...

Touringplans.com If you have the Unofficial Guide 2010 edition you can see the best/worst schedule that far in advance. If you don't, then you can pay a minimal subscription price. If you opt for neither of these, then you can see about the next 6 weeks of best/worst days for free. I highly recommend purchasing the book. It is full of valuable information and includes touring plans.

Just a few comments...

Sunday

Monday – best park EP/DS, extra hours DS 7-10 pm (worst MK/AK)

EP – lunch Garden Grove 11:15 am I think you mean Garden Grill and as a PP said it is no longer open @ lunch, you could do supper though, I believe they are open for supper @ 4:30

DS - counter service for dinner

Tuesday – best park MK (worst EP)

MK – Crystal Palace 11:30 am Crystal Palace will be closed Jan 3-Feb 13, LTT is holding an all you can eat family style character meal during this time

Afternoon/night back to MK if want to return, or just chill

Wednesday – best park EP, Extra hours AK 5-8pm (worst AK)

EP – ???? You could try putting Biergarten in here!?
evening???

Thursday – Best Park is AK Extra hours MK morning (worst MK, EP, DS)

MK – extra hours in AM (if we can make it)
AK – Donald Safari Breakfast 10:30 am
I would choose one or the other of these parks. Idea - do AK w/ the brekkie and then go to MK in the evening after your break. AK is only open until 5. Trying to do MK EMH and then get to AK would be a bit rushed.
Evening open, stay at resort or visit downtown Disney – Chef Mickey 5:30 pm.

Friday - Best Park MK/DS, Extra hours EP 8-11pm (worst EP)

DS in morning
MK – dinner (Liberty Tree Tavern?)
Good plan here. Getting to DHS first think you will be able to ride TSM!

Saturday – last day! Best Park EP, Extra hours AM – DS (worst DS)

EP
leave for airport around 3pm

thanks - Jessica :)

Just a thought. Hopping can take up a LOT of time. However, if you are planning on going back to your resort each day anyway, it makes sense to go to a different (or the same, except for AK) park in the afternoon/evening after you break. Since you are on the monorail, you could choose MK and Epcot for your evening parks. Enjoy your planning! We will be there then too! :goodvibes

Touringplans.com has a "crowd calendar" with crowd predictions and best and worst parks. You can see up to 30 days ahead without a subscription but must pay the fee to see the rest of the year.

Starting with the 2010 edition you must pay a reduced fee to be able to see the rest of the year! No more freebies!

awesome feedback! THANKS!! :worship:

Yes, I did mean Garden Grille, thanks!!
Crystal Palace, closed. boo hoo! We love Pooh!!!! Thanks for the help!

Okay, back to obsessing.....planning is half the fun, right?!? :thumbsup2

To the OP -

please remove the best/worst park info from your post. That information, that far out (>30 days) is only available to touringplan subscribers and as such can't be posted here on the DIS. The mods will most likely delete that info from your post if you don't.

I think if she just takes out the reference to her travel dates she should be okay. In her original post she isn't saying any dates. Perhaps I'm under a misunderstanding that as long the travel dates aren't mentioned it's okay. :confused3

since our room BLT has a view of the MK, I thought we would have to atleast make a small trip to MK the day we arrived.
