ADR outside of scheduled park hours?

Just want to check if this is normal - gone onto the Disney site to book an ADR for Liberty Tree Tavern and the only time near what I wanted that came up was 7:15pm. That's fine for us, but according to the park hours, MK closes at 7pm that night, so it seems a little strange.

I know that you can get reservations right up until the moment the park closes and you will still get to eat your meal as normal, but I've never been quoted a time AFTER closing before. I haven't booked it yet in case it's an error on the website, but my other guess was that maybe they're going to extend the park hours that night, but haven't updated the calendars yet. What's everyone's thoughts?

That's probably a MNSSHP night. The park closes by 7pm to everyone who has not purchased a ticket for the special event that evening.

So, the restaurants would still be open & taking ADRs but supposidly only for those who have purchased MNSSHP tickets.

My understanding is if you have an ADR for *before* 7pm, you can keep it and then be escourted out of the park after you're finished.

I don't know if you would be able to stay for 7:15pm. I'm wondering the same thing only for Tony's. I'm hoping if we check-in around 6:45pm we'll be able to stay or seated earlier.

Ah, of course - I completely forgot about MNSSHP! That makes a lot more sense now.

But as you say, unless you've got a ticket for it (and we won't have - it's only a couple of days after we arrive and we'll still be jetlagged), it's unlikely they'll let you stay. Back to square one... keep on looking!

If your reservation is for 7:00PM or later, you will not be seated if you do not have a ticket to the party.
