ADR Meals

We will be going to DL for the first time in June. We will be at DL for three full days before heading to Hawaii. Being first timers I am looking for suggestions of two-three Table Service Meals that you feel are a MUST! Our daughter wants to do the Chip and Dale Breakfast at the Grand Californian but we really know nothing about lunch or dinner places. What are places that you feel you HAVE to eat when you go? What is the time frame that DL will let you make priority seating reservations? I know with WDW it is 180...but it's not that at DL right?

We were just in Disneyland last month and the only Preferred (or is it Priority?) Seating (DL version of ADR) we had was dinner at Goofy's Kitchen. I believe you can make the reservations up to 60 days in advance, but I actually made ours with less than a month to go (and for a 6 p.m. seating on a Saturday night). We didn't really try to hit any other table service places, except for breakfast at the Carnation Cafe, and it would have been nice to have Preferred Seating, but I wasn't sure exactly when we were going to want to eat, so we just waited for a table (about a half hour wait, I believe).

1) The Blue Bayou is my favorite restaurant at DLR. It is situated right next to Pirates and the food is pretty good. Especially at lunch when you can get the famous Monte Cristo Sandwiches. Seats are very hard to get.

2) There are a couple places in DTD that have good food. Rainforest Cafe is one, but you go for the atmosphere; the food can be average sometimes. Also Naples Ristourantte and Pizzeria is a good place for Italian, especially their gourmet pizzas. Last trip I was also impressed with the Jazz Kitchen.

Since dining is not as big at DL as at WDW, you can make reservations 60 days in advance.

We like Goofy's Kitchen, the Blue Bayou, and the Rainforest Cafe! All good food and atmosphere!
