ADR Laugh!

When I checked in to the Sci-fi last week I told them I had a 6:30 ADR and the CM said, "What?" I repeated myself and then the other CM at the desk looked at her and starting laughing! They both asked me what I meant. I explained "Advanced Dining Reservation" and they thanked me and said they didn't even know it had changed and there was already a "slang" for it (ADR). Then they laughed and said they were just getting use to people calling it a PS. We all laughed and I told them they should visit the internet more often! LOL

That happened to me when I asked a CM at Guest Relations how much it would cost to upgrade my park hopper to an AP.

That happened to me when I was applying the code to my hotel ressies. When I asked to check for an AP code the guy said what is an AP. I am too used to typing

I had this happen numerous times when talking to my DBF. He's into the planning but not quite as much as I am. I think I said something about a CM he was completely confused.

My bf, too! He's just beginning to read the DIS! He always asks me about the "code". He's like "why are there abbreviations for EVERYTHING?"
