ADR for Rose and Crown to see Illuminations

I am new to posting and am seeking some advise on what time to request an ADR for the Rose and Crown to get an outside table to view Illuminations. We are going late June/early July and currently have an ADR for 8:30. Is this too late to get a table outside? What time would be best to try to get ADR for?

I think it is too late for you to get a table by the water. The people occupying said tables are going to eat/drink/have dessert as slow as possible because they know Illuminations is coming. If it were me I would go for about 7:30-45.
