Quick question. I've looked at many sources and it appears that the ESPN Club on Boardwalk does not take ADR's.

We are going during Christmas week, and it is one of my family's favorite restaurants, so I thought I'd be doubly sure since it is such a busy week.

So, no reservations for the ESPN Club at all? Everything is just walk-up?

I think they only take reservations if you have a lot of folks in your party.

We tried to go there last week and the line was only about 15 parties ahead of us and they were anticipating an hour wait! OUCH...so we kept moving!

Thanks, no ADR's for ESPN then! We tend to eat early in the evening anyway but I know Christmas week is crazy! :crowded:

As long as nobody (except large groups) can have ADR's, we think we can get in okay. Just wanted to be sure it's a level playing field! ;)

Thanks again, all! :)

I made a reservation for Spoodle's, but we want to go to ESPN Club. I figured if the wait is too long at ESPN, we'll walk across the way and still have an ADR. But we are going in September. I just didn't want to make a back up ressie at a different location.

I don't know if it is still the same but when we went there two years ago, a member of the party had to stay standing in line until time to be seated. The wait is outside in the hot sun on the Boardwalk. We usually try to get there earlier so we don't have to wait.

What is the "show"???
In the main dining area is a stage where they tape an ESPN show regularly. Usually a couple of hosts and a couple of sports personality guests. The dining guests are the studio audience. Once the show starts, people tend to eat less quickly and it is much harder to get a table.

glad to know that- do you think 6:00 is early enough- we plan to go our 1st night- on a Monday night in July.

essmom...we have always gone in the summer and I think you should be okay then. You might want to try a bit earlier as you are talking about the peak of the dinner time though.
