We are going for 5 days trip and here is our ADR:

Day1 - Chef Mickey's dinner
Day2 - AK day Tusker House lunch, 1900 Park Fare dinner
Day3 - MK day BOG lunch, BOG dinner (Not sure if I should keep only one)
Day4 - MK day CRT lunch, Crystal Palace dinner
Day5 - HS day H&V lunch (is it worth? We have 4 yrs old that love disney junior)

Is these too much for character dining?
Should I keep BOG both lunch and dinner? Or which one should I keep?

Feedback please Thanks!

Who is going? Ages other than the 4 YO? What do you like?
It is too much restaurant time for such a short visit for me. Plus it is too much food.
We always do a quick breakfast in the room, a QS lunch at the park, and a TS dinner in the evening. Sitting to eat at a buffet/TS is going to take 60 - 90 minutes each. That is a lot of restaurant time for a 4 yo.
I would do BOG lunch and skip dinner.
At H & V you are paying for the character interaction and bad food, in my opinion. It is the only restaurant in all of WDW that I will never go back to.

I thnk you should remove BOG lunch and keep the dinner as you get to meet Beast and we have only done dinner not lunch but I have heard it is a much better experience as a TS.

It really boils down to personal preference. My family likes TS meals because we use them as a bit of a break so I tend to have more than other people prefer. I also like character meals because we like to meet characters and can knock out several at once without waiting in long lines.

We have had H&V breakfast and we loved it and we loved the characters. Not sure about lunch but we had a great interaction and we really liked the food.

I'm going to go against popular opinion and say BOG lunch is my least favorite of the BOG meals. If you were only going to keep one of them, I would keep dinner. It's more of an experience and you get to meet Beast.

We eat out pretty frequently at home so my kids are used to restaurants and do pretty well. Just think about what your kids like and what you're used to.

Day1 - Chef Mickey's dinner - Keeper
Day2 - AK day Tusker House lunch, 1900 Park Fare dinner - These are buffets so I would lean to a early lunch time, so you'll be ready for dinner.
Day3 - MK day BOG lunch, BOG dinner (Not sure if I should keep only one) - Dinner would be my choice. Lunch just not that interesting and does get unfavorable reviews.
Day4 - MK day CRT lunch, Crystal Palace dinner - I would change CRT for lunch, If you are going for princess then go, there are a lot of ways to meet the princess than at this price point. Crystal Palace is one of our favorite who doesn't love eating with Pooh and the gang.
Day5 - HS day H&V lunch (is it worth? We have 4 yrs old that love disney junior) - Keeper... If they love Disney junior its more than worth it.

They are some great places over in Epcot to check out, Corral Reef is a nice meal plus the " fishes" keep the kids entertained. And if you are looking for princess Akershus is a great spot and we think the character interaction is great, Garden grill is another great spot for kiddos.

It does seem like a lot of sit-down meals in a short time frame. For me, the keepers would be:

Chef Mickey's - great way to start the trip!
BOG dinner - wonderful atmosphere, great food, and the chance to meet the beast
H&V lunch - since your daughter is a fan of Disney Jr

We also love Tusker House, but it's the same characters you'll get at Chef Mickey's. I can't comment on CRT or Crystal Palace, but that seems like 2 big meals in one day.

We are going for 5 days trip and here is our ADR:

Day1 - Chef Mickey's dinnerNever been for dinner but always enjoyed breakfast
Day2 - AK day Tusker House lunch, 1900 Park Fare dinnerBetween the 2, food wise, I would drop 1900
Day3 - MK day BOG lunch, BOG dinner (Not sure if I should keep only one)Keep dinner
Day4 - MK day CRT lunch, Crystal Palace dinnerDrop CP if you are considering only one, CRT a tougher one to get
Day5 - HS day H&V lunch (is it worth? We have 4 yrs old that love disney junior)Never been but friends love the food, keep for your kids

Is these too much for character dining?Yes
Should I keep BOG both lunch and dinner? Or which one should I keep?Drop lunch, keep dinner

Feedback please Thanks!
You have a bit of character overload. By the 2nd/3rd meal with characters, it won't mean a lot. Space them out, keep 3 at most

My only feedback... is to plan your time at the park 1st and then work in the restaurants around those locations and times.

If visits to WDW are common for you, then spending the time it takes for a sit down restaurant isn't too much. If this is something you don't do very often, then that seems like a lot of time that you'll be spending at restaurants and not at attractions or shows.

No Epcot?

I don't think a 4 year old will think it's too much character dining.

Day1 - Chef Mickey's dinner **** between Chef Mickeys & Tusker, I'd drop one of thm since the characters are similar.

Day2 - AK day Tusker House lunch, 1900 Park Fare dinner *****I'd skip 1900 Dinner. Food was not good at all.

Day3 - MK day BOG lunch, BOG dinner (Not sure if I should keep only one) ***Lunch was awesome, never tried dinner. I'd do one or the other, probably not both though.

Day4 - MK day CRT lunch, Crystal Palace dinner *****Good choice

Day5 - HS day H&V lunch (is it worth? We have 4 yrs old that love disney junior) ****never been

Is these too much for character dining? ***I'd drop either chef mickeys or tusker, and also drop 1900.

Are you on the Dining Plan?
We did 2 BOG's in one day- and we loved it. But we love eating in the castle and like the food choices. I think if you are on the dining plan- it is a great value.

Yes, we are on DDP. We hear that lunch and dinner are different atmosphere, so would like to try both. Just not sure if it is too much for one day :-)

Thanks for all input, I will adjust the ADR to have maybe one TS each day. It's just hard to pick which one to keep :p

It wasn't for us- it was a great break in our day. My DH first thought it was going to be- but he enjoyed all our meals there and we have all 3 meals planned again for January. And I think I do have 2 BOG's in 1 day again!

Since lunch is QS- it was just a nice break in our day with a good value on the dining plan.
We loved dinner! The food was great and loved meeting the Beast :)
