My ADR day is tomorrow. We have a quick Thanksgiving trip planned Thursday-Sunday. Normally I hyper plan our trips out, but I don't have any plans this time. It might be that we are on the fence of actually going, waiting to see how insane Star Wars makes it before we commit or not. We also let our annual passes expire so at the moment I'm not sure if we'll have tickets when we go, although if we go we will probably buy tickets.

So I need some suggestions on what we should book for dining. Thanksgiving day is pretty much the only day I know what I want to book. It'll just be me and DH. I'm not sure if I should stay away from booking something in a park in case we don't get tickets. We normally do quick service for breakfast and sometimes lunch. I'm also thinking of dropping Sunday and going home Saturday instead so we can leave our cat at home instead of boarding her. Should I not book any dining on Sunday if we might cancel it? My husband likes to think things through for a bit so that probably won't be decided before tomorrow.

We've dined almost everywhere at Disney so it's hard to decide lol. We are staying at the Yacht Club so we probably should do some things in that area?

So any suggestions would be welcome, currently have a blank slate.

We LOVE Shula’s and very convenient walk from YC. Also, to our surprise had a great breakfast @ Rix Sports Bar and Grill. New restaurant @ CSR will b opening for reservations soon as well. My kids enjoy Maya Grill and I enjoy Turf Club.

Another thought would be to spend time visiting lounges. My husband and I did this on an Adult only trip and really enjoyed it . They offer great food often served in restaurants.

Thanks! Do you know any info on the new restaurant that is opening? Where is Rix Sports Bar and Grill is that on the Boardwalk?

If you aren't on the dining plan, I would definitely consider Shula's at the Dolphin. The food is so good and it's such a lovely restaurant! I would also consider bluezoo (if you don't need traditional Thanksgiving fare), Ale & Compass and Yachtsman. If you end up having tickets, perhaps consider something in EP - maybe the new Japanese signature (if it's open by then) for something new and different? I, personally, wouldn't want to be driving around the resort that day.

Ya we are going to try and keep driving to a minimum to avoid any traffic jams. Thank you for the suggestions. I'll look into that new restaurant and see when it's supposed to open that would be nice.
