Hello

We are checking in on march 13 for 12 days. We have two dates we are trying to get reservations for chef Mickeys and California grill. March 23&24.

When can I make those reservations? On march 13 at 6am eastern?

Are you staying onsite or offsite? If you are offsite, you can make reservations 60 days before the date you want to dine, which I think would be January 22 for March 23? If you're onsite, you can make reservations 60 days before your check-in date, but only for the first ten days of your stay. I think 60 days before March 13 would be January 12, so you can reserve March 23 then (you can reserve 60+10) and March 24 on January 13. I might be off by a day or two though!

We are staying onsite. Sorry forgot to mention

Yes, the above is correct.

That's the nuttiness of 60+10 when you've only 2 more days past the "magical" first 10 which allow booking as many ADRs as you can cram into those 10 days.

The 23&24 are the most important dates that I care about getting a reservation for. I’m little flexible on my dates. Would it make sense to move my dates any direction to have a better shot at those dates that I want?

Since you’re staying 12 days and those dates are at the end of your stay, you’re actually in a much better position to get them than someone who’s staying fewer days - many guests are there for 7 nights or less.

Your booking date is January 12, and you can book March 13 through 23 that day. On January 13 you’ll be able to book March 24. You’ll have very little competition because very few guests will be able to book those dates before you can.

Not really. The farthest out anyone can book is 60 days from the check-in date, for ten days after the check-in date (60+10). You'll have as good a shot as anyone since you will be booking your +10 date.
