Perhaps I am a bit slow.... but here we go...
On our last visit to WDW in August 2007 we stayed at OKW, VWL and BCV. 180 days before arrival at OKW I called and made ADRS for our arrival day and 10 days thereafter. Easy to understand.
This year I knew that the reservation date had been reduced to 90 days + 10
We have a 13 day block at WDW starting 07/26: OKW - 2 nights, VWL- 5 nights then BCV- 6 nights. No gaps. No leaving WDW.
I called on Monday this week to make reservations for 90 + 10 and got my first 3 days only as I was told that as I had 3 separate reservations I could not make reservations until 90 days before each of them. So.. reservations made for the day we arrive at OKW until (and including) the day we check out and check in to VWL. OK. Stupid rule but I can kind of accept it.
Move on to today - 90 days before we check into VWL. But this time, the computer won't let me make reservations for the day we check out of VWL and into BCV. Why - when I COULD make reservations for the day we checked out of OKW?
Will someone brighter than me please explain the new rule and tell me why I could not make the reservation I thought I could.
Yes - I know - there are MUCH more important things in life; I simply want to try to understand the rules. And so what if I cannot get what I want in WDW...I can be at Bennigan's in 10 minutes and spend much less. Do our Disney rule makers think of this? Any comments would be appreciated, and I am sorry this is so long!
