Is 9:00 late for the California Grill?
We eat all the time this late but started to wonder since this is WDW. Will the service be the same as an earlier time? Its just me and DH in December.:)

Gosh, I hope not, I have a 9:20pm 'vation in early October.

But from what I have read here, the servers and CG are perhaps the most professional int WDW outside of V&A. So everything should be A-OK! :thumbsup2

We eat dinner late all the time, everywhere at WDW, and never had a bad experience.

Thank You!
When we ate at V&As last year we ate late and it was fabulous!

If you watch some TV, ever notice that dates are usually set up for dinner around 8:00? Dining at 9:00 is not that late. My husband and I don't even start to make dinner here at home until 8:00.

For whatever reason, the "normal" dinner time here is supposed to be 5:00 but that sure has changed recently. Most people are not even home by that time. I would say a "normal" dinner time is about 7:00. Unless you are Archie Bunker and your meal is waiting for you on the table as soon as you walk through the door.

I have a 9pm ADR for December at California Grill so I hope everything turns out well too. I'm not worried about eating late as much as I am about taking the elevator up. I'm scared to be inside of elevators!

Don't forget that it will actually be 8pm "your time". So that will make it seem earlier to you.
