Just seen this on the dining page:

Effective October 27th, the booking window for advance dining reservations (ADR) will be extended to 180 days. Theme park hours will also be released 180 days in advance.

That will please the compulsive planners amongst us, and hopefully mean the 'extremely hard to get' will go back to 'hard to get'. :goodvibes

Hmmm...

I'm of two minds about this.

I do think that as long as they are publishing reliable park hours 6 months in advance that there's no real difference between this and the 90 day window and if it's what people want then hey, I'm all for it.

The bit that worries me is that on Oct 27th, extra 3 months of ADRs will become available in one go. This could seriously screw up people heading out between Feb and April 2010 (yes I admit, that includes me).

This is great news ~ I hate having to wait for the 90 day window to book ....... ;)

Thats great news, should make it easier to get some of those difficult ADRS :thumbsup2

Oh I'm liking this, back to the old school! Means I'll get a little bit of Disney magic this year now too. I can book end of Oct/early Nov I believe now for our trip next May! :thumbsup2

I'd better get my dining list together!

I much prefer it going back to that, like others have said it will make those very hard to get reservations just hard to get! Great though for us who plan our trips so far in advance.

Thank goodness for that. I'm a complusive planner, so I cam get them booked asap when the park hours come out.

Also I notice that lots of peeps have been having loads of problems securing their ADR's this year, since they moved it to 90 days, and there weren't really that many problems before.

Thank goodness Disney has seen sense. Off to mark it on the calender now, so I remember.

It helps those that plan early because there are less people that have firm travel plans six months out than there are 3 months out.

I don't think they will open up February on October 27th, I think they will just open up the end of April and then gradually catch up with themselves.

This gets a very big :thumbsup2 from me!! Let's hope that Chef Mickey's before 9pm will become a possibilty again! Oh and dinner at Le Cellier. O'hana and then the beach!

I will be very disappointed if this doesn't materialise!

Sounds good :thumbsup2 Means that I'll have a rough idea about park hours by December! Not too fussed about ADR's as I don't know if we're gonna stay on-site or not so.

Yeahhhhhhhhhhh :banana::banana:
so pleased we will be able to book 180 days out for dining .
For a fanatical spread sheet planner like me this is excellent news .!!!!:yay::yay:

Only 6 months till I book my ADRs for september now,:rotfl:
