Adr-- better to search for "dinner" or an exact time?

Do you find it easier to get reservations when you search for a mealtime - like dinner. Or when you search for a specific dining time?

Time…. And if not available I run up and down the times. Sometimes you click 8pm and nothing shows up, then click 5pm and 8.15 pm appears.
