ADR adding one guest.

I'm unable to find reservations for Rainforest Cafe on Disney Springs for 3 (DW, DS and me), buy there are plenty reservations available for a party of two.

What would happen if I make the ADR for 2 and show up with 3, will they refuse to seat one of us.?

Yes, sometimes it can be a problem if you show up with an extra guest, although sometimes when checking in via MDE guests are given the opportunity to add a guest! Generally, the recommendation is to look for a reservation for 4 people. You won't be charged a no-show fee as long as one of you shows up! An alternative is to call Rainforest Cafe directly (sorry, I don't have the number), because being a Landry's restaurant, not owned by Disney, they only release a limited number of reservations to MDE and save the rest to book via their own site or save for walkups.

no, but they might refuse to seat one of you. Interesting you would choose your son to be turned away

Have you looked for 4 people? They won’t penalize you for showing up with less people. Seating more might be denied because of capacity issues, or they might seat you, but you’ll just have to wait longer.

You can try open table, a lot of the Disney springs restaurants are on there, not sure if Rainforest Cafe is. Some restaurants let you add 1 person when you do online checkin, some don’t depending on their capacity.

Yes, availability for a party of 3 is almost the same as for a party of 4.
