Adpbe Photoshop Elements 7

Would you be able to do these type of designs with this program. I keep looking at it and consider buying it, but I don't want to waste my money if this program won't do the type of Disney Designs on the board.

Many of us, myself included, use PSE for our DISigning! various versions but I use 7...

PSE 6 is what I've been using for about a year now. Before that it was PSE 1. It's a VERY powerful program. Thing I like most about it (in addition to layers) is the number of shapes, patterns, and textures available for it. Most things like that the work for Photoshop are compatible withe PSE. There's also lots of tutorials out there and a forum, elementsvillage.com, for it.

how different is it to go between versions and learning curve. It took me awhile to learn PSE 5 and i am still a beginner but would like to buy another version so i could install on my laptop, but i cannot buy version 5 here any more. Will i find that i need to "re-learn" version 7 all over ago. I still haven't masterd all the "extras" in 5

I would ask that question on the ElementsVillage forum! They have people that can tell you exactly what you need to know. I've only used 7 and the tutorials and help through that forum is terrific!!

I went from PSE 1 to PSE 6 last summer. It took me about a week to feel comfortable with it. The thing that took the most time to get used to was when items were on a totally different menu than in PSE 1. The added features made the adjustment WELL worth it.
