Is there any word yet on whether they are going to provide another character meal at the Magic Kingdom while CP is closed? I know there was talk about them putting characters back at LTT, but I am really looking or a breakfast. We love getting into MK for an 8am ADR! I know we can do CRT but that is just not one of our favorite meals, especially due to the cost.

My understanding is LTT will offer character dining for dinner only during the CP refurb & I have not heard of any other additional character dining being added to compensate for CP.

I was going to book a lunch at LTT but if the characters are coming back for Dinner during the CP refurb (which is when our trip is) I would DEFINATELY book there.. where will i be able to confirm or deny this???

I'm staying in a club level room at AKL in January. I email the concierge staff about a breakfast replacement and they said they had no information on that yet. I'm taking my tomboy for her 7th birthday and there is no way she would go to CRT. I know she'd love O'Hana but I really like walking up a nearly empty Main St.

I can't really answer your question, but I have an alternative idea.

The Contemporary is a really short walk from the MK. Try to make an early ADR for Chef Mickey's (they start seating at 7am) and then you could probably still make rope drop.

Hello all!

I was going to book CP for our arrival day so we could go to the MK and not have to leave, but now I'm not sure what to do. Would you book LTT for dinner with characters or venture over to Chef Mickey's? We're for sure going to do Chef Mickey's during our trip, but I thought it might not be to convenient to leave the MK and go to CR to eat and then go back for Spectro. What do you guys think? Is it too much of a hassle to leave for Chef Mickey's and then come back? BTW, there are 8 of us, 3 will be five years old at the time of the trip. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Also, I'm pretty sure that the character meal at the LTT was discontinued this past spring, so you might want to look into that.

I think that depending on where in MK you are at dinner time, it might be a pain to get out to the monorail, leave & come back for Spectro. Chef Mickey's is really close though...I also think it could be a nice break from the park! Good luck with your decision!

I have been thinking about booking LTT just in case and cancelling in case the rumor doesn't come to fruition but I'm not sure either.

I am so disappointed!!! We are going at then end of Jan on our second trip to the world and this was on our list to do...we did not get there last time and we were really looking forward to seeing main street without many people!!! When is is closing??? I don't know how I missed this info!

There really are not any other options in the MK. We are already going to Chef Mickey's another morning!!! Well, no I need to find another TS place that we can do!!!
