adjoining staterooms?

We are wondering about cruising with Disney in 2004 and were wondering if there is a stateroom with a veranda that is next to one that sleeps 4 that doesnt have a veranda anywhere on the ship?
They dont need to be connecting just next door as my DM & DD wont cruise without a veranda and I dont feel safe with one as my boys like climbing !! The children like being next to their Gran & Pa.

If I'm understanding your question correctly, this situation happens at a few places on the ship. On deck 7, rooms 7016 and 7014 are adjacent, one a category 5 (verandah) and one a cat. 8 (porthole window). Their counterparts on the starboard side are 7516 and 7514. The same is true on deck 6, rooms 6028 and 6528 (category 6) are adjacent to 6026 and 6526 respectively. Not all of the category 8 rooms sleep 4, however. I'm not sure if these do or not, but these are the rooms you'd have to ask for if you want a verandah next to an oceanview room.

You could also book an inside cabin directly across the hall from a verandah room. There are plenty of places on the ship where this occurs.

All rooms with verandas have a locking device near the top of the sliding
glass door so don't let worrying about junior falling out stop you from getting
a veranda room. And the doors are pretty heavy and takes some effort to
push them open so I doubt a toddler could get one open even if its unlocked.

Thanks folks. At least I know its a possibility.
I have a strong 5 yo who would love to get on the veranda especially while I was in the shower!!
On the Grolden Princess when we booked they said they would net the veranda but now are saying they wont.
