Adjoining Rooms???

We are a family of 6 and was wondering if any of the value or moderate resorts have adjoining rooms? We have been staying offsite the last couple of times we visited but would like to stay at one of the resorts on our next trip.

They both do - but I think what you might want is connecting rooms - these are the ones with the inside door between them. Adjoining rooms are just next to each other, no inside door.

I've requested and was told I'll probably get connecting rooms at Caribbean Beach. But they say that all requests are just that and they refuse to promise anything. I've also read though that if you send a polite FAX including reasons for some requests to the resort 4 days prior to your first night that it will increase your chances of getting what you want. 4 days out is when the resort will actually see your reservation for the first time.

If there are only two adults in your party they will guarantee connecting rooms due to family size. We are a family of five and have two rooms at CSR. Our reservation confirmation specifically says guaranteed connecting due to family. If you have more than 2 adults, and anyone over 18 is an adult, they will not guarantee connecting but only a request.

Some of the resorts have stopped accepting faxes. A couple of CMs had also posted that the resorts they worked at were throwing the faxes away without reading them because they were getting hundreds of faxes per day and it was interfering with their ability to do their jobs. If you have made the request on your original reservation, it's in the computer for the room assigner to consider. Faxed requests are not in the computer, so the CM has to manually juggle them all.

We just had adjoining rooms in POFQ. But we booked as a grand gathering, 10 of us, we needed 3 rooms total. Try booking on the grand gathering to see if they can make sure your together.

We have had connecting rooms at the All Stars

Last August we had 2 adults and 4 kids at CSR and the confirmation said the connecting rooms were guaranteed.
