Has anyone done this marathon before? I just registered for the half. It is in September in Lake George, NY.

It's a local race for me so I've run it. I will most likely run the 1/2 this year as a training run for the Marine Corps Marathon.
It's a small, very well organized, hometown race. Lots of locals come out and the scenery can't be beat. The finish is at the local park with a beautiful beach. The first half of the marathon is hilly with the second half (1/2 marathon course) basically flat (for the Adirondack Mountains
