Hi all!

Friends are going to WDW. They have been a few times before with their older children, but yet not with their youngest who was recently diagnosed with ADHD.

From being there with their older children in the past, they know the youngest will have difficulty standing in line. They want to try without the accommodation first, but if it is a disaster is wondering if he would be considered for DAS.

I am helping them plan their trip and have no experience with DAS. Is difficulty waiting due to ADHD something they may grant DAS for?

Thank you so much!

The diagnosis doesn't matter. They should be prepared to explain why he cannot wait in a standard queue environment -- what happens, what is the effect or impact, etc. Since they have been to WDW previously, they probably have a good idea of what to expect, though right now I understand queues look extremely long due to social distancing but are almost constantly moving. If they want to try first and it's a challenge, they would then a good solid experience to share as to what isn't working well.
