Today BF got a call from our guide. We had been talking about adding on at Aulani, and a fortuitous call today was enough for BF to say yes. We will soon be proud timeshare owners at Aulani! We are very excited!

I'm just curious....

Did you guys buy enough points to use every year?

I know several people I have talked to that were either considering Aulani or had already bought Aulani were planning to use it either every other year or every three years.... now all but one of the people I have talked to were East Coast folks - but I'm just wondering on average how many points people are buying - and in buying points, what their intent is on use.

Something else I have also wondered about is this - there was such a fuss about DVC offering fixed weeks - how many people are actually buying fixed weeks???

We are not likely to ever buy Aulani - BUT we have never been to Hawaii either. BUT, I just don't see us spending a week in Hawaii more than a couple times - there is just too much else to see in the world!

However, we really are anxious to see if Disney Cruise Line is going to Hawaii! We've heard the rumors, and the filing of Port Documents, and have heard Disney will be making an announcement about what's new and what's next with Disney Cruise Line very soon! SOOOO - THEN we will go to Aulani!! HAHAHA
