Addon Question

My DW and I have been contemplating buying a BCV addon. We currently have 400 points at WLV.

My question is, if we buy BCV 50 point addon - Can we make an 11 month reservation at BCV using all 450 points or only 50? Another words the 11 month benefit to your home resort is only good for contract points to that resort or can you total them?

You cannot "total" your points and get the 11 month advantage. You 50 BCV points will only have an 11 month advantage at BCV. Your 400 VWL points will only have an 11 month advantage at VWL. Of course you can use all 450 of them at any DVC resort at the 7 month window.

You would only be able to use your BCV points for an 11 month reservation. If you own 50 points and use banking and borrowing you woud have 150 points to use every 3 years.

Thanks for the info. Not what I had hoped, but it makes sense.

If it was the way I was hoping we would all have addons at every resort, LOL.
