Adding special occasion to dining reservation

I booked a dinner reservation at Flying Fish to celebrate an anniversary. I'm not sure if I missed it in the Disney app, but there didn't seem to be any place to indicate a special occasion. What would be the best way to get this noted for the restaurant? Do I have to call the general reservations line, or could I call the restaurant directly? Note that I'm not expecting anything, but just want to at least have the potential for a little extra pixie dust to be blown our way.

You can call the reservations line. They can definitely help you out. My travel agent always adds our anniversary to our reservation, and all of the signature restaurants acknowledged our anniversary in one way or the other.

You have to call. It's annoying.

I assume they added the extra step to cut down on all of the celebrations. It was much easier when you could do it from the website.

You can also just let the host/hostess when you check-in. Whether anything happens or not depends on the restaurant, the server, how busy they are, etc. We've gotten everything from a complimentary dessert, to a simple "Happy Birthday/Anniversary", to no acknowledgement at all.
