Hi,

I need some advice. I'm wanting to book a package ASAP and pay the $200 deposit. We are within days of the 60 day mark so want to make sure this is booked now so I can make FP reservations etc. The issue is my daughter's father isn't sure if he can go with us and probably won't know for at least a few weeks. Can I book room/tickets for just 2 people, then add him later? Is there a fee to do this? Or would it be better to originally book for all of us and just take him off before the payoff date if he can't go? Could he be added at less than 30 days out and then just pay in full for the extra cost at that time? Trying to figure out the best way to do this. I realize a room only reservation would be easier, but I want to book FP at 60 days out and the park tickets wouldn't be able to be purchased separately right now. Thanks for any help!

I looked over the terms and conditions for packages, and I can't find anything about adding a person to a package or removing them. All the info about changes seems to be talking about changes to travel dates, changing resorts etc.

As long as you remove him before you incur any penalty you should be fine. There’s no extra charge for 2 adults in a room. Adding a 3rd adult will incur an extra charge.

If the main purpose of booking now is to take advantage of FP+ at 60 days and your DD's father will need the same FP+, I would put him on the package now. As long as you remove him prior to 30 days prior, you won't incur any change fees. If FP+ for him doesn't matter, I would just wait until you actually know if he is going.

So as long as I remove him before the payoff date there is no fee? They'd just remove the cost of having him on there no problem?

Yes, that's correct. If you remove him prior to the balance due date, which is 30 days prior to check-in, there is no fee. If you remove him within 30 days of check-in, technically, they can charge you a $50 fee.

Thanks! Can I also change the resort with no penalty? As of now there is no availability at POP on our dates but if it becomes an option after I book can I switch to it?

Yes you can switch. If you switch prior to 30 days, there is no penalty. If you switch within 30 days and the package stays the same price or goes up, they have been known to waive the change fee. If the price goes down, they may charge you the $50 fee.
