Adding points??

I have a question in regards to adding points. I am purchasing 175 points at VWL... when the BCV become available for sale how many points do you have to buy to be able to book in the 11 month window? Why do people add points on at different resorts?

You can only make a reservation at the 11 month window for the number of points you own at the resort in question. In other words if you add 100 points at BCV you can only make a reservation that uses 100 points at the 11 month window - at 7 months you can use your WLV points as well. Owning a few points at another resort does not open the 11 month window for ALL your points.
