Adding People to Existing Reservations

I've got all out dining reservations set for a trip in late May. My mom just decided she would like to join us for this trip. What is the best way to add one person to existing dining reservations? I'm afraid of I cancel and rebook I'll lose our time slots.

When you arrive or near your dining destination you now check in on the app. It asks how many people and you can raise or lower as needed. Then they will text when table is ready.

IDK we called to try to add one person to our Wave reservation and they said they couldn't do it do to Covid capacity limits for the restaurant. We're going to show up and hope they can accommodate one more. You'd think it wouldn't be that hard to go from 5 to 6 people

Don't cancel and rebook; try to modify it to increase the number of people. You can do that through MDE.

All you can do is try to modify or ask when you check in, there are no guarantees. Try booking for 6 people instead of 5.
