Once I get my DVC room booked for next year, will the DVC site allow me to add things then like park tickets?

If it does, do you have to pay in full upfront or is it like regular package holidays where you have a deadline to pay for the tickets?

Also, if you can add tickets and pay later, can you still book park reservations?

Once you have your DVC room booked through the DVC site, you link your reservation to your MDE account, then do the tickets and park reservations through MDE. (There are links on the DVC site that take you to the place in MDE to do each.)

My experience so far has been that all tickets are paid for up front.

As above, you buy your tickets separately. You can buy them via the MDE website, in which case they'll be linked to your MDE and you just have to link them to the specific individuals in your F&F list. Or you can buy them from an authorized Disney ticket reseller (which will usually offer a discount for multiday tickets) and then link them manually to your MDE account. In either case, you have to pay in full upfront and can book park reservations as soon as the tickets are linked to your MDE.

Now that you have DVC, you won't be booking a package - it's an entirely separate program.

Thank you for the replies. I thought that would be the case but thought I would check now I’ve moved from vacation packages to DVC

I assume it’s the same for any add-onsthen like the Dining Plan (when it returns)

Yes, assuming the Dining Plan returns under the same conditions it was under before, you'll have to add it at least 48 hours before checkin and pay in full when you add it. DVC in the past has gotten a tiny benefit with the Dining Plan - if Disney increased the price during the year, the DVC price remained the same and didn't increase until the beginning of the next year.
